This is a Calendar for 2020, 2021 & 2022 launched by Cheers, The British Library and ABCD.
Calendar, as a kind of article of everyday use carrying the accompanying warmth and blessings, differing from the ordinary gift among friends. It is rather a cultural gift that is out with the old, in with the new. We frame the features of this calendar as: ritual, design and quality. Among them, in view of the “sense of ceremony”, leather material is chosen to create stability and the thickness produced meanwhile makes it feel more comfortable when it is held in hand. In the aspect of “sense of design”, we choose the classical font with humanistic flavor and rich details. We also adopt the way of superposition in layout design, and add a modern sense to the classical design style. The “sense of quality”, through the selection of gold as the principal color element, runs throughout the entire calendar. Coupled with the masterpieces in the collection of the British Museum, each page is full of elegant and romantic temperament.

日历，作为一种具有陪伴温度和祝福寓意的日常用品，区别于友人间的普通赠予，而是一份对应辞旧迎新的文化礼品。我们将这次日历的特性框定为：仪式感、设计感和品质感。其中，针对“仪式感”，选择了皮革材质营造稳重质感，与此同时产生的厚度，让它被握持在手中时，感觉更加舒适；而在“设计感”方面，选择了古典并具有人文气息且细节丰富的字体，同时版面设计上采取了叠加的处理方式，于古典中加入现代感；而“品质感”，则通过选用金色做为主要色彩元素，贯穿于整本日历，再搭配以大英博物馆提供的馆藏名作，让每一页都充满优雅浪漫的气质。
