Sherley's Temple is an art project in cooperation with JNBY. The topic for the design output is
chosen centering on consumption behaviors. It is quite different from display designs for ordinary consumption sites. The consumption links we used in the design include checking out,
packaging and receipt, which are mainly during the period when consumers make their payment.
I. Keep Change presents coins cut into pieces, which is designed for checking out.* Coins cut into pieces (Pounds, US dollars, HK dollars and Japanese Yen). The coins can be used as changes for RMB 10, 20 and 50 according to their face value. This means that the change for consumers after their consumption is replaced by art designs. In the meantime, customers will not be able to collect a full set of Keep Change coins in a single consumption. * In ancient China, people were used to cutting official silver money into pieces as changes.
II. Packaging paper
We select packaging paper of products that have been or will soon be out of the market. The external packing is magnified, leveled without the previous 3D structure and reprinted on packaging paper. As the shapes of commodity differ, the packaging paper may be of different shapes, or even balled up as the fillings.
III. Receipt
A receipt is a piece of paper printed by cashier. Customers may get bored when checking out, and start to impatiently rap their knuckles on the table and look around. We extend the lengths of receipts by several folds for printing to prolong this period of boredom. Eventually boring waiting may turn into certain expectation.

“福利舍”是一个与江南布衣品牌合作的艺术项目。我们选择的主题是围绕消费行为而产生的设计输出，这跟通常的消费场所的设计作品陈列有很大的不同。我们利用到的消费环节分别是：结账，包装和收据，集中在消费者付款后的这个时间段。
Keep Change
“不用找零”是针对结账而出现的设计，是被剪碎的银两*。被剪碎的硬币（英镑、美元、港币和日元）按照原有面值所示数字在店内被抵价为10元、20元、50元，用于找零。意味着，顾客在消费后拿到的找零被设计品替换掉了。同时，顾客也不可能在一次消费中得到完整的一套 Keep Change。
包装纸
我们选用濒临或已经淘汰的产品外包装做为包装纸，破坏了立体结构的外包装被放大后拍平重新印刷在包装纸上。随着里面包装的商品形状不同，包装纸也具有不一定的造型可能，甚至做为填充物被揉成纸团。
小票
小票，就是收银员打印的收据。结账时最无聊，顾客用手敲着桌面四下张望，我们通过设计延长数倍小票的打印长度来延长这个无聊期。最终无聊会变成某种期待。
* 中国古代，有将官制的银钱剪碎，以充当零钱使用的习惯。
