BIG STROKES

I believe that the design presented in the exhibition is very different from commercial design, and that the intention for the creation is the most important thing, that is, what we want to challenge and what possibilities we want to show. I designed the carpet using the most basic tool in graphic design: the brush stroke. This is inexperienced and unskilled, anyone can draw a line and a shape in a very short time with a brush stroke. It is this casual, relaxed state that I wanted to show, without purpose or burden. -- Nod

BILLBOARD

This is a game for public participation. A carpet is divided into 80 advertising spots for the public use, where participants can buy one or more advertising spaces. At the end, the sale proceeds will be donated to a non-profit organization. The final image of the carpet depends entirely on the image provided by the participant and the percentage of the contribution.

Using the rules of the game to get an image that materializes an act of selling, this is the work itself. -- Guang Yu
大笔触

我认为在展览中展示的设计,与商业设计有很大的不同,创作动机是最重要的,也就是我们要挑战什么,要展示怎样的可能性。设计这块地毯时,我使用了平面设计中最基本的工具:笔触。从实施角度来看,这是毫无经验、毫无技术门槛的操作,任何人都可以用设置好的笔触以极短的时间来画一条线,画一个造型。我想展示的就是这样随意轻松的状态,没有目的,也没有负担。

广告牌

这是一个公众参与的游戏。一块地毯,分出80个广告位对外招商,参与者可购买一个或多个广告位。最后,把销售收益捐助给非盈利机构。地毯的最终画面完全取决于参与者提供的图像和出资的比例。

利用游戏规则得到一个图像,把一个销售行为实体化,这就是作品本身。
