We hide “gravity sensors” in the wire clips. When you hang the calendar on a clip for a specific month, you will be surprised to find that the calendar is correctly adjusted to the current month with the help of
gravity. Most importantly, this does not require any energy or power supply. What you need is just a nail.
Of course, we are making use of some daily common sense, not necessarily anything “high technology”, in a way of “design”. We are leveraging the gravity of paper itself to guide the correct direction for reading: when certain wire clip is fixed, the paper will be tilted due to gravity, and the one that is naturally vertical at this moment implies the current month. Such “implication” is subtle and hidden, a conspiracy between the calendar owner and the designer.
