Atypical Airship

I designed a jazz vinyl record titled "Atypical Airship" for Xiao Jun. However, I opted against giving it the typical appearance associated with "jazz" records. Instead, I decided to infuse some playful and unconventional elements into the design. Yes, I changed the theme entirely, steering away from the romantic jazz elements that usually define such records, and chose to incorporate futuristic sounds. However, within the inner pages of the record, I placed a large triangular spaceship. I believe that this atypical element embodies the kind of unconventional "romance" that Xiao Jun envisions within the realm of jazz music. The triangular element of the spaceship thus becomes a ubiquitous symbol of dissonance throughout the entire record design.

我为肖骏设计了这张爵士黑胶唱片“不正常飞船”，但我没有给它“爵士”唱片的典型外观，而是决定用它来玩点有趣的东西......是的，我改变了主题，唱片的设计没有任何体现浪漫的爵士乐元素，取而代之的是来自未来的声音。然而，在唱片的内页中，我放置了一艘很大的三角形飞船，我相信这是肖骏在爵士乐中设想的那种不正常的“浪漫”，飞船的三角形也因此成为整张唱片设计中随处可见的不和谐音。
